super simple chocolate brownies

{Recipe} Super Simple Super Yummy Brownies

I may have mentioned (onc

e or twice) that I prefer simple recipes.  The simpler the better but I like what I make to be tasty too. Does that make me a lazy cook?  Well if it does, then so be it as I cant say I enjoy cooking as such but I do enjoy eating! Haha!

Tried this recipe for the first time the other day for Craft Club.  I was expecting them to maybe be a bit dry but no, they were delicious!  The recipe is so easy, you can literally throw them together in minutes and you probably wont need to buy anything for them either. So without further a do, here is my favourite super simple, super yummy chocolate brownie recipe!

Ingredients

170g plain chocolate
115g softened butter
225g soft brown sugar
170g plain flour
100g chocolate chips
1tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs

Method

- Preheat the oven to 180c and grease a square tin, if possible, around 20cm x 30cms
- Melt the chocolate (I did mine in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds)
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Stir in the melted chocolate
- Beat the eggs and stir into the mixture
- Stir in the flour
- Stir in the chocolate chips
- Bake in the oven for around 20 - 25 minutes but check with a skewer if they are cooked.

Thats it!!  Told you it was easy.  You could add all sorts of things instead of the chocolate chips, walnuts are popular, or dates, or fruit.  For me, has to be the more chocolate the better!

Thanks for reading :) Until next time....
